The city of Wildomar is located just off the I-15 freeway and is between the cities of Murrieta and Lake Elsinore and about 24 square miles. Wildomar officially became a city on July 1, 2008. There are currently more than 32,000 residents. Wildomar has a lot of older homes that have acreage for residents with animals. There is also new housing tracts located in Wildomar if you are looking for something newer. Wildomar is one of the smallest communities in the Temecula Valley.
Wildomar is just down the hill from the Santa Rosa Ecological Preserve. You can spend hours up there on all of the different hiking trails. The city also has many new shopping centers with all the necessities of a bigger city. With Temecula only about 10 minutes away it’s the perfect place to be if you’re looking for something a little more quiet and out of all the congestion.
