Temecula Market Trends Report October 2015
The holiday season is just around the corner and I can’t wait for all of the wonderful activities this time of year brings. In my Temecula Market Trends Report October 2015, I will BE pulling all of the current monthly numbers and comparing them to last month. As always my stats are based on single family, detached residence, with 3+ bedrooms and 2+ baths.
• Number of Active Temecula Listings in October: 352
• Average Temecula Home Price In October: $535,718
• Number of Closes in September: 158
• Average Price of Temecula Homes in September: $433,598
• Average Days on the Market: 56
Comparing the current numbers to the numbers in September, I can see that our numbers have dropped for the city of Temecula’s average amount of listings. We were seeing an average of 391 homes and now there are only 352. That is a decrease of 9{c8f127ee0ae8e843244cc4fdd37fe5c6d1494d04024f10fe6afe3d18700f5f1b}. Seeing this number drop is fairly common this time of the year. With that being said, the average listed Temecula home price has stayed relatively the same with only a $2000 decrease in price.
Moving onto what is selling in the city of Temecula I see that the numbers are staying pretty much the same as previous months with 158 closes in September. August was only ahead by 7 more homes that month. The average selling price in September was $433,598 which has slightly increased from August’s selling price of $424,065. The average days that homes are staying on the market has dropped by only 2 days.
