Murrieta CA New Home
Did you know that there are only 7 Fridays left before Christmas and that Thanksgiving is only 3 weeks away? I just realized that this morning and I can’t believe it. It’s amazing how quickly this year has gone by. Moving onto myvMurrieta CA New Home market trends report for the month of October I will be comparing the months of September and October. As always my stats are based on single family, detached residence, with 3+ bedrooms and 2+ baths.
- Total Number of Active Listings: 459
- Average Murrieta Listed Price in October: $406,645
- Number of Homes Sold in October: 151
- Average Selling Price for Homes in Murrieta for October: $360,944
- Average Days on the Market: 73
Currently the number of active listings has dropped from 475 in September to now 459 not a huge decrease with only 3{c8f127ee0ae8e843244cc4fdd37fe5c6d1494d04024f10fe6afe3d18700f5f1b}. The average price that homes are selling for is slightly changing from $411,464 down to $406,645. This is usually a slow time of year for real estate so I’m really not all that surprised with these numbers.
Looking at what closed last month on the Murrieta CA New Home market report, I see that there is an increase of homes sold. We had 123 in September and in October we had 151, so a little improvement of 28 closes last month and a 22{c8f127ee0ae8e843244cc4fdd37fe5c6d1494d04024f10fe6afe3d18700f5f1b} increase. The average selling price in Murrieta for October was $360,944 which is only about a $3,000 decrease in price from September. The average days that homes are staying on the market is remaining about the same with only a couple of day’s difference over the last 2 months. I’m hopeful with the holiday season here that we will start to see an improvement in the Murrieta real estate market.
