November 2015 Letter to Clients:
October and Halloween are both landmark times for me and frankly the most exciting time of year. Since I was a kid, I always loved that Halloween was a super fun, costume wearing candy-fest! But it also represented a gateway to the holiday season with Thanksgiving (annual mud bowl tackle football, turkey/stuffing and Magic Mountain trips), the wonderful Christmas season, followed by kicking off the New Year and even more time off school.
Although I have been guilty of being stressed on holidays – I absolutely love them and they are all starting right now – the colder weather, the delicious bite in the air, the gorgeous sunsets, and so many wonderful family events on the horizon. I promise I am not auditioning for Hallmark or being a mushy emotional metro guy, but for the next few months we get to enjoy the absolute best part of the year and I revel in that!
It is always this time of year that I feel the most grateful for my family, friends, and my amazing clients that have been a part of my life for the last 14 years! I am taken aback at how many of my clients are growing their families, taking on new jobs, or making a new move to another state, etc. This year I had the opportunity to work with more past clients than ever. This included helping my very first client sell the home that they bought with me 14 years ago. I also just put into escrow great clients doing their 4th transaction with me. Your trust and fantastic referrals are so appreciated. I know how lucky I am to have you as a client…thank you so much.
Like I said, I get mushy this time of year and oddly enough really want to eat Sees candy and cook lots of stuff – man food of course and sometimes less than manly food (cough, banana bread, cough) I don’t really understand why but my family loves it so I roll with it. Frankly, I am getting older and playing tackle football isn’t an option probably – might pull a hammy just in contemplation. My kids aren’t ready yet for the awesome roller coasters of Magic Mountain (eagerly waiting), and my wife completely FREAKED OUT the time I talked her into Knott’s Scary Farm.
However, in place of those past fun experiences, I now have an amazing time taking my boys trick or treating, ahem umm cooking, wine tasting, Christmas shopping, and so many other things living here offers, including writing this note to you. So I offer my sincere welcome to the start of the most fantastic time of 2015. I hope you and your family revel in it as well. Included is my monthly update and fun events in the area. I hope you can indulge.
Sincerely,
Stefan AKA Mr. Murrieta
