Springtime is officially in Southern California. The temperatures are on the rise and everything around us is green and in full bloom! The Murrieta CA Real Estate here in Murrieta is starting to pick up pace a bit. In this month’s market trends report I will be pulling the current numbers for the city of Murrieta and comparing them to February. As always my stats are based on single family, detached residences, with 3+ bedrooms and 2+ baths.
- Total Number of Active Listings in March : 335
- Average Murrieta Home Price in March: $449,516
- Total Number of Closes in February: 116
- Average Murrieta Sold Price for February: $368,618
- Average Days on the Market: 76
Well as crazy as it seems, we have the exact number of homes on the market currently as we did a month ago in February when I pulled the numbers. The average listed price of homes has not changed to dramatically over the last month. We had a price of $422,012 in February and now in March we are seeing an average listed price of $449,516. That’s only an increase of 6{c8f127ee0ae8e843244cc4fdd37fe5c6d1494d04024f10fe6afe3d18700f5f1b}. As we get closer to the summer months we should start to see an increase in inventory out there for future buyers.
Now taking a look at what the closes were last month for the Murrieta CA Real Estate market, I am noticing an increase from January to February. At the beginning of the year there were only 91 and last month there were a total of 116 that’s 25 more homes. The average price that they sold for dipped slightly from $373,412 to $368,618 in February. The average amount of time that homes are on the market, has improved 10 days in the last month.
