With Christmas only 3 weeks away, that means it’s time to start decorating the tree and stringing up those lights. The smell of Christmas scents are beginning to fill the air and really getting me into the holiday spirit. As we head into the final weeks of 2014. In this months Temecula CA Home report I will be pulling the Temecula numbers from November and comparing them to the month of October. As always my stats are based on single family, detached residents, with 3+ bedrooms and 2+ baths.
- Total Number of Active Listings in Temecula: 404
- Average Listed Price of Temecula Homes in December: $483,558
- Total Number of Closes in Temecula for November: 168
- Average Selling Price of Temecula Homes in November: $415,702
- Average Days on the Market: 67
Looking right away at the total number of active homes currently we have 404 on the market in Temecula. A month ago we had 456 so we are decreasing that number a bit by about 11{c8f127ee0ae8e843244cc4fdd37fe5c6d1494d04024f10fe6afe3d18700f5f1b}. That’s not too surprising as we are at the end of the year. The average listing price for Temecula has increased by $2,000 in the last month.
Moving onto what’s selling in the Temecula real estate market. We had 168 in October and in November we only saw 124. That’s a decrease by 44 homes. Still with us being right in the middle of the holiday season it’s not uncommon to see numbers like these. With 2015 just a few weeks away, I’m hoping to see the real estate market in the valley pick up steadily into the springtime. It does look like the average selling price has gone up from $396,626 in October to $415,702 which is a 5{c8f127ee0ae8e843244cc4fdd37fe5c6d1494d04024f10fe6afe3d18700f5f1b} increase. The average days that homes are staying on the market is only varying a couple of days between these last 2 months.
