The city of Temecula covers roughly 30 square miles and is located just north of the San Diego County line. It is a highly sought out city to live and is an ideal place to raise a family or even retire. There are approximately 105,208 people living in Temecula as of 2012. Temecula is known for its beautiful wine country, with around 40 amazing wineries to enjoy. The weather is comparable to the Napa Valley, with warm dry days and cool evenings with the Rainbow Gap that funnels the mild beach weather into the valley, an ideal climate for our many vineyards.
Temecula is also known for its annual Balloon and Wine Festival, Old Town, the Temecula International Film Festival, and also the Pechanga Indian Reservation and Casino. There is always something fun going on throughout the year from the Rod run in springtime to the Christmas parade through Old Town in December. One of the great things about living in the Temecula Valley, is you can be at the beach surfing in less than an hour or up on the slopes of Big Bear Mountain.
