Real Estate Murrieta
Happy New Year to everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful start to the New Year! In my monthly Real Estate Murrieta market trends report I will be pulling the January numbers in Murrieta and comparing them to December. As always my stats are based on single family, detached residences, with 3+ bedrooms and 2+ baths.
- Total Number of Active January Listings in Murrieta: 367
- Average Listed Murrieta Home Price: $412,753
- Total Number of Closes in December: 127
- Average Sold Price in December: $370,780
- Average Days on the Market: 79
I see that comparing January to December the numbers fluctuated a little but not much. There are currently 367 homes on the market in Murrieta and in December there were 425. That’s a difference of 58 homes and a 13{c8f127ee0ae8e843244cc4fdd37fe5c6d1494d04024f10fe6afe3d18700f5f1b} decrease. The average listed home price has gone up slightly from $408,308 to now $412,753.
The amount of closes in November was 103 and in December we saw 127, a little increase there but nothing to get too excited about. Also the price in which homes are selling for has gone up from $364,769 to $370,780. Homes were remaining on the market a little longer in December, six days to be exact compared to November. The city of Murrieta seems to be staying pretty quiet for the time being. I think we will start to see things pickup in the months ahead as we get closer to spring.
